ELUTIONS Europe Pre-sales Consultant

Elutions is an Enterprise partner who create shareholder value by dramatically improving energy, asset, and security management business processes with a unique automation and information solution platform for commercial and industrial enterprises.

Purpose of the job:

  • Focus during pre-sales stage to help Managing Directors to identify/validate prospective customer business case elements and to build up solution architecture in our key Verticals: Retail, Telco, Property Management.
  • Coordinates and monitors those technical projects from initiation through delivery. Serves as liaison between R&D, Energy Consulting departments and Enterprise and Solutions sales departments in order to ensure that all targets and requirements are met. Is able to operate without supervision and with wide latitude for independent action. Reports to the Technical Director. Requires 5 to 10 years of experience in the areas on Building Automation, Energy Conservation & Optimization.

Essential functions & responsibilities:

  • Analyzes customers' business requirements and translate into technology solution objectives; develops a project design and architecture in liaison with R&D to meet customers' business needs.
  • Estimates time frames, quality and quantity of resources required to successfully implement project; develops project plan incorporating all project variables together with Technical Director.
  • Sees that appropriate company resources are assigned to complete project tasks according to plan. Establishes criteria concerning deliverability, performance, maintenance, design and costs validated by Technical Director.
  • Conducts audits with customers in liaison with Energy Consulting department.
  • Diagnose customer requirements & technical objectives
  • Build Statement of Work
  • Prepares weekly status reports on all project activities.

Essential Education and Professional Skills:

  • Education and Work Experience
    Bachelor's degree in business and computer science. Typically has 5 to 19 years of international experience in the areas of development.
  • International experience
    Ability to communicate efficiently during consulting stages with European customers at different levels from technical up to C-level executives.
    English fluent, German or French desired.
    Travels according to business needs.
  • Specialized Knowledge and Skills
    Excellent knowledge of complex Enterprise IT solutions.
    Highly technical background
    Excellent time management, communications, presentation, customer relations and organization skills.
    Able to resolve problems in a timely manner.
    Team player.
