Fieldbus networks are the most efficient way to connect field devices
into a control system. Each fieldbus is a high-speed, industrial network.
Users can connect smart devices and I/O to a fieldbus network, transfer
data across this network and easily diagnose and configure information
for efficient maintenance. A single communication driver and a single
set of network tools support a variety of fieldbus communication protocols
listed on the sidebar.
In addition, fieldbus allows users to easily expand their systems by plugging in new I/O and devices to the network without changing the existing configuration. Users have the freedom to choose and mix the best-of-breed hardware from different suppliers in the same network.
