This is an easy-to-use mapping service that provides real-time location of Sprint-Nextel® mobile phones. This solution enables the 7520 BlackBerry or any other GPS-enabled mobile phone to send GPS location data back to ELUTIONS ALERT® Server via Sprint-Nextel® cellular network. The web-based ALERT® software allows the dispatcher and other authorized users (with internet access) to locate and display the mobile device on a map. Additionally, the ALERT® application provides alarm notifications via email or text message when the device has traveled beyond a user-defined geographic boundary.
The ALERT® software includes other features such as historical “breadcrumb” reports, mapping controls, landmarks, precise address location and driving directions.
